The Otaniemi Triforce
OtaLAN is put together by three student associations from Otaniemi.
Otakut is an anime club in Espoo, affiliated with Aalto University's Student Union since May 1996. We support hobbies related to Japanese animated movies, series and comics.
Activities include anime evenings, game and karaoke nights, Friday social events, and much more.
Becoming a member is easy and free. Membership does not bind you to anything and you'll receive just one email per week about upcoming events.
Polygame ry is a videogaming and LAN party association situated in Otaniemi. Our goal is to promote videogaming culture in its various forms, be it playing games on PCs or consoles.
Among the platforms and genres our members enjoy: 10 gaming PCs in a clubroom in Otaniemi; PlayStations, Xbox / Xbox 360, Mega Drive, NES and Wii; Amiga, C64, ZX Spectrum, DOS and other retro and arcade systems; FPS, shoot 'em ups, beat 'em ups, strategy, RTS, RPG and more; gaming servers.
We especially like the multiplayer variants of these. The more players, the more fun. Membership is free!
Aalto Gamers is a community for connecting gamers in Aalto University. We have organized gaming related events and promoted the development of esports in Finland and in academic scenes since 2016! Join our events online or offline and find people with similar interests from our hundreds of members!
Every year we organize for example:
Join the fun, no previous gaming experience needed!
PS: (almost) all our events are in English, so no Finnish skills needed either!
